Meet Ghostie: A Coloring Book Series for the Burnt Out and Over It
When I first started creating the Ghostie coloring book series, I wasn’t setting out to start a brand. I was trying to survive burnout and figure out a way to stay creative. As a mum, carer, and someone living with chronic illness and anxiety, I needed something gentle. Something fun. Something that didn’t ask too much of me — but still made me feel seen and put my existing design skills to use.

And so, Ghostie was born.
💬 So… Who Is Ghostie?
Ghostie is a soft, quiet little ghost who shows up in the pages of my coloring books doing what most of us are too exhausted to admit we want to do: taking naps, setting boundaries, having snack breaks, saying no, hiding in the laundry pile, and sometimes just vibing.
They’re not spooky — they’re sweet, introverted, and a little bit sassy. Ghostie represents the part of us that’s tired of being “on” all the time. They’re not trying to impress anyone. They just want peace, snacks, and the occasional bubble bath. (Relatable, right?)
🕯️ Why a Ghost?
There’s something deeply symbolic about choosing a ghost as a comfort character. Ghosts are often invisible — and that’s how many of us feel when we’re overwhelmed, chronically ill, or quietly struggling. Ghostie reminds us that we don’t have to prove our worth through productivity. We are still here. We still matter. Even on our lowest-energy days.
