Trick or Treat. How’s your self care going lately?

Friends, I have not been treating myself the best I can recently. Yes, I am very mindful of alot of things, more than I used to be – but I haven’t been listening to my instincts and ended up having an emergency iron infusion on Sunday because of my chronic low iron issues.

Thing is, I already knew better, so I should be doing better, right? Well, even Wellness Coaches are not on their A game 24/7, but I want to use this as a learning opportunity for myself and for you too … ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Wellness is not just when you are feeling 100% and bouncing off the wall. And self care shouldn’t be implemented when you are already feeling crap. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Start taking preventative steps BEFORE you start to slide downhill. Don’t start learning when you’re already drowning. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Think about what you can do TODAY to help yourself grow stronger and healthier. Even if you feel GREAT and everything is AWESOME, what could you be doing today that will honour your wellbeing? How long since you went to the dentist? If you’ve been feeling tired like I have, are you eating well? Could you do with a health check at your dr? Could you do with some mindful moments throughout the day?

Treat yourself so kindly, like you were talking to your best friend. Don’t wait until it’s too late.
